GFRRC is an initiative of SGCCI for the development of Textile industry. The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SGCCI), incorporated in the year 1940 is an apex organization for Trade and Industry in South Gujarat.
It has a round 6000 direct members inclusive of individuals and companies and 92 trade & industry associations members. It is a one-stop-shop for the weavers and textile traders. The centre provides information on the composition and other technical details about the fabrics and their market potential to the weavers, processors and traders.The Man-Made-Fibre (MMF) industry of this region is decentralized and the weavers and traders should be always updated about the fabrics in fashion around the world. Fabrics sourced from around the world are displayed along with their technical specifications, so that the weavers could make similar kind of fabrics which would help in boosting the overall fabric export from the India.
